Home Remedies for Sagging Skin

Sagging skin is a common complaint that goes hand in hand with aging. Below is a list of natural home remedies to combat it.

  1. Coconut Oil – massage oil in an upward circular motion on the affected skin for 5-10 minutes before bed. Leave the oil on overnight to penetrate the skin and rejuvenate the cells. 
  2. Egg White Mask – if you notice your face is not as tight as it once was, combine 1 egg white with 2 table spoons of honey, leave on your face for 15 minutes. It is suggested to apply this mask three times per month to rebuild the skin cells and improve skin elasticity. 
  3. Coffee Scrub – coffee is loaded with antioxidants that have shown to slow the appearance of skin aging. Using coffee grounds as a scrub will exfoliate, firm and smooth your skin. Combine 1/4 cup of organic coffee grounds, 1/4 cup brown sugar, 1/2 teaspoon of cinnamon and 2 tablespoons of slightly-heated coconut oil. Lightly scrub your face, neck and chest in small circular motions for 3 minutes. Rinse off the scrub with warm water and repeat once per week for best results. 
  4. Aloe Vera – pure aloe vera can work wonders on your sagging skin. it contains phytochemicals that sooth, nourish, tighten and protect the skin from damage and aging. Cut open an aloe vera leaf and apply the fresh gel on your skin, let dry for 15-20 minutes. Rinse with warm water and reapply daily.
